Torn between Blaire and his dear little sister, Nan, Rush continued to find himself in difficult situations. For the most part of the book Rush was able to protect Blaire from Nan, I didn’t think telling Nan off was a good way to help Nan to accept Blaire, it was just making Nan hating Blaire more. And what happened when it was time for him to choose between the love of his life, and his beloved sister?
Nan, I don’t particularly like her, I find her very immature and spoiled Although she isn’t the one entirely to be blamed for making Blaire’s life miserable, when it really come down to it, it was their parents’ fault. Nan grew up with her mother constantly telling her to hate Blaire and her family, it ought to be hard to think any other ways when you believe in something for your entire life.
I am not a huge fan of multiply POVs, sometime I felt like we are missing a huge part of the story when the book kept switching POVs. As much as I wanted to read from Rush’s POV, I think I would like it better if it was just either from Blaire’s POV or Rush’s POV.
I felt really bad for Blaire in this book, and I thought Rush still need a heck of lot growing up to do. He could’ve done a much better job in the situation, but he did not. My heart aches for Blaire, for Rush treated her in such careless way. I am glad that Blaire has great friends to help her out. I am talking about you Woods! He has definitely grown on me since Too Far, at first I thought he was just another wealthy, arrogant prick, but he really cares about Blaire and helped her numerous times when she was in devastating situations.
I heard there will be a third book of Blaire and Rush, I look forward to read it. I also hope to see the relationship between Blaire and Nan become better as well.
Still packing with sizzling heat, Never Too Far continue with the story of Blaire and Rush.
