My Favorite Series

I enjoy reading va ariety of books, but my ultimate favorites have to be Urban Fantasy. I am slowly putting together a list of my favorite series, be sure to check back in from time to time, to see the complete list!

Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews

I LOVE this series, I can’t tell you how many time I read and re-read this series, however I, can tell you I probably do that once or twice a month.
Kate Daniels series’ got intriguing magic and on a hell of an exciting plot, a kick-ass alpha female, and an ultimate alpha male.  I just love Kate and Curran, they are one of my favorite book-power-couples.

❝”Here, kitty, kitty, kitty.”

“What kind of a woman greets the Beast Lord with ‘here, kitty, kitty’?”
“One of a kind.”❞

-Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews

Atlanta would be a nice place to live, if it weren’t for magic…One
moment magic dominates, and cars stall and guns fail. The next,
technology takes over and the defensive spells no longer protect your
house from monsters. Here skyscrapers topple under onslaught of magic;
werebears and werehyenas prowl through the ruined streets; and the
Masters of the Dead, necromancers driven by their thirst of knowledge
and wealth, pilot blood-crazed vampires with their minds.

In this world lives Kate Daniels. Kate likes her sword a little too much
and has a hard time controlling her mouth. The magic in her blood makes
her a target, and she spent most of her life hiding in plain sight.

But when Kate’s guardian is murdered, she must choose to do nothing and
remain safe or to pursue his preternatural killer. Hiding is easy, but
the right choice is rarely easy…

A Guild Hunter Series by Nalini Singh

Goodreads | Amazon

An angle series like no other, this is another my absolute favorite series.  The series has a strong and fascinating background, while it is still written as Urban Fantasy, this series does focus little more on the relationship building between the Archangel Raphael and Guild Hunter Elena.

Vampire hunter Elena
Deveraux knows she is the best- but she does not know if even she is
good enough for this job. Hired by the dangerously beautiful archangel
Raphael, a being so lethal that no mortal wants his attention, Elena
knows failure is not an option—even if the task is impossible.

Because this time, it’s not a wayward vamp she has to track. It’s an archangel gone bad.
job will put Elena in the midst of a killing spree like no other—and
pull her to the razor’s edge of passion. Even if the hunt does not
destroy her, succumbing to Raphael’s seductive touch just might. For
when archangels play, mortals break.

A Megeri series by Dannika Dark

I have to be honest, I didn’t fall in love with this series until book 2, which in my opinion was where the series truly started.

This is a series that contains so many layers and full of surprises.  And the reason I have fallen with this series was because of Mr. Logan Cross.  Logan’s character is simply fascinating, for me, Logan is the reason why I enjoyed this series so much.  (And of course the relationship of Silver and Logan).

I am still hoping the author will release more novella of Silver and Logan.

Zoë Merrick lived an
ordinary life until the night she was brutally attacked. She narrowly
escapes death, rescued by Adam Razor, an ex-soldier who offers her
friendship and a place to stay. But something else is different. Zoë is
unable to control an unexplainable energy coursing through her body.
Justus De Gradi is a man who can teach her that control. She meets him by
chance – a man who’s handsome, arrogant, and not entirely human. He
reveals that she’s a Mage – an immortal made of light, not magic. Zoë
must now make a choice: Rebuild her life in the human world with the man
who saved her, or live with Justus and learn how to use her
extraordinary gifts. Justus has sworn an oath to protect her life, but
can he guard her from the one man who has a right to claim it?Zoë learns the price of freedom…and the value of loyalty.

Ren Crown by Anne Zoelle

This is one of my favorite young adult fantasy series, it has an incredible world building, very well developed characters, creative and complex story-plot that packed with actions!
At the magic world’s most elite school, time and glittering evil stalk Ren Crown’s steps. In a world where layers of magic create worlds on top of our own–worlds where almost anything is possible–some rules still can’t be broken, and Ren is desperate to overturn society’s most sacred law.

On campus, animated creations, enchanted gadgets, and marvelous machines vie with the students themselves: mischievous engineers, diabolical tacticians, battle-hardened warriors, and terrifying roommates. But even amidst an eclectic and powerful student body, there is something off about Ren’s magic…and the wrong people have started to notice.

Where art comes alive and the bonds of destiny are forged, Ren will find the answer to who and what she is.
