Madison’s spirit friend, Jaime, has a flesh-and-blood brother. Haven is a sexy, tattooed bad boy with a dangerous reputation, but is drawn to Madison because of the enticing truth she could give him about his little sister.
Shane and Haven help Madison use her gifts to uncover the secrets surrounding Jaime’s disappearance, which puts Madison in danger from more than wayward spirits. The psychopath that killed Jaime now has Madison in his cross-hairs, and he has no intention of letting her reveal the truth.
THE UNINVITED is book one in The MacKinnon Legacy series and is intended for readers over 17+ due to language, sexual situations, and violence.
Shane’s lips were soft, his mouth open slightly, and I nearly reared back when I felt tongue, but he held me firmly to him. His hands locked on my hips.
And then I thought to myself, why the hell not?
The next thing I knew my arms were sliding around his neck and I was leaning into him, kissing him back for all I was worth and enjoying every second of my first real kiss.
Q & A with the Author:
Why a spin-off series? The MacKinnon Curse series is the series I’m most proud of, as well as a reader favorite. When the emails continued to come in asking if I was going to continue the series, I thought why not write a spin-off? When I wondered where to start, the character of Maddy just kind of leapt off the page for me. She’s one of those tortured souls that I love to write about, and plus, she’s psychic, so she was a perfect fit for this world.Your books are considered horror and romance. How do you classify them? First and foremost, I look at my books as romances because the stories are about a girl on a journey, and that journey always includes finding love. I do love writing the scary bits though.
So…you’re also a psychic medium? What does that mean exactly? Yes, I am. A psychic medium is someone who can communicate with those who have passed away. Like the character of Maddy (and Riley from The MacKinnon Curse series), I see, hear, and feel Spirits.
What’s next? I’ll finish books two and three in The MacKinnon Legacy, and then I’m writing the third book in the Badboy Rockers series before I finish up my Otherworld series.
